Reaching the conference hostel in Bratislava The return is scheduled for Friday, June 14 at around 19:00 (depends on traffic conditions). The conference bus departs at 12:00 on Tuesday, June 11 from the main entrance of the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology located at the Radlinskeho 9 street. Also consider purchasing an additional insurance for hiking activities. If you plan to do hiking in higher areas of High Tatras, you should wear a proper tourist outfit. Morning temperatures can drop to as low as 5 degrees.
Please note that Štrbské Pleso is situated at ~1300m altitude, therefore average daily temperatures are not expected to exceed 15 degres centigrade. Each participant is eligible for one entrance to the pool and sauna part of the hotel.
